FAQs
This course takes a deep dive into all the ways you can naturally support your body to recover after treatment. It is a roadmap to help you move through the different phases of recovery (Reset, balance hormones, and maintain/prevent recurrence). Each of the 8 modules gives you specific, actionable steps and is accompanied by a video of Dr Kaycie explaining exactly what to do. It gives you specific supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations at every step of the way. Each video is generally less than 10 minutes so you can get what you need and move on with your day.
The course advocates manageable and natural lifestyle changes, including dietary adjustments, mindfulness practices, and gentle exercises. These changes aim to improve sleep quality, boost mood and energy levels, and enhance overall well-being, which are crucial for long-term recovery and prevention.
This course is designed to help survivors feel more at home in their bodies and live their lives with renewed energy and joy. It is specifically tailored to address several post-treatment challenges such as:
managing menopausal symptoms due to hormonal changes
detoxifying and reducing side effects from medications and chemotherapy
minimizing health anxiety and the risk of recurrence while boosting overall wellness. It's designed to help survivors feel more at home in their bodies and live their lives with renewed energy and joy.
Medications such as tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors can cause an array of symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, insomnia, joint pain, and more. Additionally, if you have gone through chemo, you may also have imbalances in your thyroid and adrenal glands, which can exacerbate weight gain, fatigue, and digestive issues. This course provides targeted natural strategies to nourish your hormone-producing glands, minimize symptoms, and rebalance your hormones. It offers a comprehensive system that gently and powerfully resets your body, using nutrients, botanicals, food, and mindful daily practices.
After breast cancer treatment, recurrence anxiety is common–and especially if your hormones are out of balance, this can be very intense! The Recovery course teaches you about all of the dietary, nutrient, and lifestyle choices we can make that we know are associated with decreased risk of recurrence, so you can craft your daily life with an added sense of ease.

Thriving Survivors supports you by teaching you about the therapies and tools that will help your body heal. This healing process varies from person to person and is influenced by a number of factors, but many clients report positive results within 3-4 weeks! As you progress in your program and continue to address the determinants of health (sleep, nutrition, hydration, exercise, and stress management), you’ll further strengthen your mind and body and help your key systems to heal more quickly. This will help you regain and maintain a more normal life as you move through and recover from your treatment.
Many clients report that their chemotherapy symptoms such as fatigue, mouth sores, nausea, and neuropathy became easier to deal with — or disappear entirely. Clients have also reported that they were able to reduce or eliminate menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes and night sweats. You can expect to feel more energetic, experience better sleep, and enjoy a wide variety of cancer-fighting and immunity-boosting foods. Mindfulness exercises will help to improve your mental health, including stress and anxiety management.
While you may not feel exactly the same as you did before your cancer treatment, you can create a powerful new standard of health going forward — one that leaves you feeling awesome, active, and empowered!
Follow the steps laid out in your program or treatment plan to the best of your ability. While it can be challenging to feel energetic or motivated while undergoing treatment, staying committed to your program will help you to feel better more quickly!
